James is also a music producer who writes, composes, sings, and plays a range of instruments, including guitar, slide guitar, drums, bongos, keyboard, bass, and various percussion instruments. His musical journey began in high school, where he studied drums, and expanded into guitar and songwriting during university years in the early 2000s. While completing a Music Business degree in 2006, James developed a deep interest in music synchronisation for film and began performing live. After a car accident that fractured his back and paused a career for nearly a decade, he’s since returned to music with renewed purpose — focusing on creative expression and production. Looking ahead, I plan to release original tracks, play more live gigs, produce more tunes and compositions for film and storytelling projects.
