James Vegter is an Australian actor with over 15 years’ experience across film, television, and commercial work. His credits span Amazon Prime, Netflix, Paramount, Foxtel, ABC, SBS, BBC, NBC, and HBO’s The Pacific, alongside more than 30 international campaigns. A career-defining early role was the lead in Lovers (China, 2008), linked to the team behind Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and selected for major international festivals. James is drawn to cross-cultural, truth-driven stories and uses performance to support Indigenous rights, education, and mental health awareness.
