PLOT
In 1852, in Victoria, Australia, a lone wandering teenager Garra (15), the daughter of convict William Buckley and Wadawurrung musician Purranmurning Tullawurnin was hiding out in the Anakie mountains away from violent colonisers who had taken land. Her life is suddenly thrown into turmoil when grazier land grabber John Von Stieglitz (35), hunting for kangaroo, stumbles upon her hideout.
